As a Google Account Executive, you'll help to provide integrated, cross-platform advertising solutions. Google has become a leader in this space because we've developed effective products and services targeted to marketers and consumers. The primary responsibility of the Account Executive (AE) is to drive and grow new business with Google’s top advertisers. You'll manage business relationships to ensure that the clients' needs and requirements are met. This will require you to serve as their advocate within Google while collaborating with other Google teams to provide them with a comprehensive portfolio of solutions and options. This is a client-facing sales role requiring deep industry expertise, proven ability and a broad base of industry contacts.
An Account Executive plays more of a cross-market role to drive global and regional strategy for leading brands and companies.
Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with a team to drive growth with new and existing customers.
  • Build and foster long-term senior brand-level relationships with regional/global client decision makers, as well as their agency counterparts, to be able to build and carry out long-term digital strategies and optimize their advertising.
  • Be responsible for the development and management of global and/or regional Joint Business Plans across various Google products and services, countries, and channels, working in partnership with country AEs and other regional/global team members.
  • Support client(s) with the creation of global/regional large-scale brand advertising programs (e.g. global sponsorship campaigns, cross-market product launch or brand campaigns).
  • Develop scalable and leading edge solutions for client(s) in order to optimize their advertising and maximize use of Google products (Search, Video, Display, Mobile and beyond).
Minimum qualifications
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in digital sales, product marketing or product management.
  • Experience in online branding, advertising, marketing, creative development or advertising sales.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Indonesian fluently and idiomatically.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience working with brand developers, agencies (creative but also media), and/or media clients.
  • Knowledge of and established relationships within the advertising industry (including all its stakeholders).
  • Knowledge of traditional as well as contemporary/online marketing strategy and execution.
  • A deep understanding of the industry's issues, a vision for its growth, and a commitment to advance Google's forward-looking strategies within the marketplace.
  • Willing to travel.
